    Week 2 Waiver Wire Pickups

    Justice Hill

Hill played 54% of the snaps in Thursday's game against the Chiefs, even out snapping Derrick Henry. Hill logged one rush for three yards and six receptions on eight targets, bringing in 52 receiving yards. He was the third most targeted Raven behind Isaiah Likely (12) and Zay Flowers (10). It looks like Henry will not be a factor in the passing game, and Hill seems vital to the Raven's third-down offense. Hill got 11.5 fantasy points and could be a weekly flex option. He should be a target on the waivers, as he is only rostered in 3.5% of leagues on ESPN.

    Isaiah Likely

Likely had a monster game on Thursday, setting career highs in both targets and receiving yards. He brought in nine receptions on 12 targets for 111 receiving yards and a touchdown, while star tight end Mark Andrews only had two catches for 14 yards. With such a huge game, I doubt Likely's usage will decrease. With him rostered in only 10.3% of ESPN Fantasy leagues, he is a significant pickup option if tight-end depth is a problem.

    Baker Mayfield

Mayfield had a massive week one against Washington, throwing for 289 yards, four touchdowns, and completing 80% of his throws. He also tagged along 21 rushing yards on three attempts and finished the day with 29.66 fantasy points, which was QB2 for week one. With an incredible starting cast of Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, and Rachaad White, the offensive upside is there for Mayfield. If Jordan Love was your quarterback and you are looking for a solid replacement quarterback, Mayfield is your guy; he is only rostered in 34.3% of the leagues on ESPN.

    Bucky Irving

Irving is a newer player as he was the Buccaneer's fourth-round pick in this year's NFL Draft. Irving logged 32% of the team's stats, bringing in 9.6 fantasy points while only getting 12 opportunities. He had nine rushes for 62 yards and two receptions for 14 yards. He averaged 6.9 yards per carry on the day compared to Rachaad White, who only averaged 2.1. With this trend continuing, Irving could have the chance to take over the Bucs' backfield. Irving is a good pickup to stash, as he is only rostered in 20.7% of ESPN leagues.

    Wan'Dale Robinson

Robinson logged 12 targets in their week one matchup versus the Vikings, with Cooper Kupp being the only receiver who received more. In the blowout loss, he brought in six receptions for 44 yards and one rush for 14 yards. Jones' struggles to throw the ball down the field will benefit Robinson as he is a machine in the shorter parts of the field. The Giants offense is a hard team to get behind, especially on the offensive side of the ball, but Robinson could be a nice player to stash as he is only rostered in 6.8% of ESPN leagues.

    Brandin Cooks

Cooks had a solid first game of the 2024 NFL season, bringing in four receptions on seven targets with 40 receiving yards, a touchdown, and one rush for five yards. With Cook's 14.5 fantasy points, he is the clear number two option on this Cowboys team, and with tight end Jake Ferguson likely to miss some time, Cook's role with the team should only increase. Cook's is definitely a flex consideration, and with him rostered in 29.7% of leagues, he is a must-roster if you have the chance, too.

    Allen Lazard

Lazard had a monster MNF game, bringing in six receptions on nine targets for 89 receiving yards and two touchdowns. The Green Bay connection between Rodgers and Lazard has not faded, as the two were in sync all game. With Lazard only getting two fewer targets than star receiver Garrett Wilson, it is clear that he is the WR2 on this Jets team. Finishing with 26.9 fantasy points is an excellent stash option, as he is only rostered in 0.8% of ESPN leagues.

Other options include JK Dobbins, who had a monster debut with the Chargers with 135 rushing yards, a rushing touchdown, and three receptions. He finished with 22.9 fantasy points, but he is rostered in 76.9% of leagues, so if he is available, he is a roster must. Another option is Jordan Mason, who exploded last night for 147 rushing yards and a touchdown, finishing with 22.2 fantasy points. With CMAC's health not being 100%, it is a good idea to stash Mason, who can perform if given the opportunity. Mason is rostered in 37.4% of leagues, so if he is available, go ahead and grab him.
