Buccaneers star receiver Mike Evans is likely done for the season after he broke his clavicle on Monday night against the Lions. Head coach Todd Bowles delivered the news after the game.

The 32-year-old just came back after missing three straight games with a hamstring injury. He was not able to get a catch before injuring his shoulder on a deep pass. He also suffered a concussion on the play.
Evans’ streak of 1,000-yard seasons will likely end now. He tied Jerry Rice’s record of 11 straight seasons reaching the mark, and was going for the NFL record twelfth this season.
With Evans now out for good, rookie Emeka Egbuka will have to step up like he has been all season so far. The Bucs will also look to get Chris Godwin fully back and healthy, which will add to Baker Mayfield’s available weapons.
