In his last outing before his shoulder/foot injury, he tallied 63 rushing yards on 15 carries, and racked up a season high 102 receiving yards and a touchdown on five receptions. However, he suffered a foot injury against the Eagles and has not seen the field since.
In his absence, Rashad White has now tallied 87 carries for 325 rushing yards and four rushing touchdowns on the season, surpassing Irving's 237 rushing yards on 71 carries. The Buccaneers did not place Irving on injured reserve (IR), which would have required at least four games missed, but despite Tampa Bay's Week 9 bye, Irving was still unable to make a full recovery for its 28-23 Week 10 loss to the New England Patriots.
