OK, it’s still early in the season—no need to panic—but what in the world is going on with QBs this year!?  😬

Quick Recap from Week 2

QBs: 2 out of 3 hits ain't bad—both Daniel & Mac Jones delivered QB1-level performances. Unfortunately, Geno Smith didn’t come through.

RBs: Not a great week. None cracked RB2 territory, but some were borderline flex plays.

WRs: The Chargers WR duo paid off. Boutte? Meh—WR3 numbers at best, but we’re expecting a bounce back.

TEs: Luke Farrell was streamable. The rest? Not so much.

Let’s reset and reload—here’s your Week 3 wire rundown.

Quarterbacks – The Injury Wave Hits

As many as five starting QBs could be out this week. The wire just got spicy.

🔥 Jake Browning (CIN)

Joe Burrow is likely done for the redraft season. Browning is the clear top waiver target at QB. If you have auction budget left—spend it all. This is a plug-and-play starter with elite weapons around him.

💸 Carson Wentz (MIN)

I’m a Vikings fan, and let’s just say: the QB carousel continues. JJ McCarthy hasn’t looked great, and Wentz might get a shot. He’s a speculative, cheap stash if you miss on Browning.

🧠 Mac Jones (SF)

Yes, again. If he’s still on waivers, grab him. Brock Purdy won’t be out long, but Mac has looked competent and might get another start—or even a new home via trade.

Running Backs – Fewer Injuries, But Sneaky Pickups

📈 Jeremy McNichols (WAS)

With Austin Ekeler done for the season, and “Bill” underwhelming, McNichols could get his shot soon. Stash now, especially in deeper leagues.

🔮Zavier Scott (MIN)

With Ty Chandler on IR and Aaron Jones banged up, it’s Scott’s time to shine. He’s an upside stash that could pay off quickly.

🚀Cam Skattebo (NYG)

Probably already rostered, but if he’s not—fix that. He looked great last week and could be taking over the backfield from Tyrone Tracy.

Wide Receivers – Gems Emerging

🔥Troy Franklin (DEN)

Clearly developing chemistry with Bo Nix, Franklin has emerged as a reliable WR2. Could be a league-winner if he keeps this up.

📊Wan’Dale Robinson (NYG)

Might not be widely available, but if he is—snatch him up. His floor is high, and he’s a PPR machine in a chaotic offense.

💼 Hunter Renfrow (CAR)

Yes, the Panthers are a mess, but Renfrow is a target hog and has real value in full PPR formats. Safe, sneaky production play.

Tight Ends – Just One You Need

🎯 Juwan Johnson (NO)

Shock stat alert: He’s TE2 on the season. Yes, really. Somehow still available in many leagues—this is the rare TE waiver win. Add now if you need help.

Final Tip

With QBs dropping like flies and RB committees shifting weekly, now’s the time to load up on depth and upside. The playoffs will be here before you know it.

See you next week with more waiver targets and trade tips!
