Player Updates

📢

Rosters are getting shaken up and players are already packing it in for the season. That means it’s time to go full “next man up” mode and find your path to the playoffs. Let’s break down last week and dive into this week’s top waiver adds.

🔁 Last Week Recap

QBs:

Carson Wentz crushed it with a QB1 finish.

Mac Jones just missed QB1 territory but was a solid Superflex starter.

Jake Browning… RIP your blind bid dollars. Bust.

RBs:

Jeremy McNichols was mid—until he busted a 60+ yard TD, finishing as RB15.

Cam Skattebo was a beast.

Zavier Scott saw some usage, but not enough to be relevant.

WRs:

Troy Franklin, Wan’Dale Robinson, and Hunter Renfrow all underperformed. Let’s hope for a bounce-back week.

TEs:

Juwan Johnson delivered a solid outing—one of the few bright spots.

🔁 Week 4 Waiver Adds

🧠 Quarterbacks

🔥 Tyrod Taylor (NYJ)

Tyrod looked sharp in relief and landed as QB9. With no need to rush Fields back, he’s a great bye-week filler or spot start option. Don’t let him sit on the wire.

🧨 Jaxson Dart (NYG)

Dart gets his first NFL start, and while it may be rocky, he’s got solid weapons around him. Last year we saw guys like Jayden Daniels and Bo Nix emerge late—Dart could follow that path. Monitor closely.

👀 Kirk Cousins (ATL)

Cousins is lurking behind Michael Penix, who just posted a QB31 week. If Penix struggles again, could Kirk step in? Either way, he’s a sneaky trade stash in case a team loses a starter and goes shopping.

🏃‍♂️Running Backs

💥 Trey Benson (ARI)

With James Conner done, it’s *Benson season*. Former 2nd-round pick with good draft capital, this is his chance to take over the backfield. Immediate add.

⚡ Ollie Gordon (MIA)

The thunder to Achane’s lightning. Gordon posted RB26 this week and has a stable role. If Achane goes down, Ollie could instantly become an RB1.

📈 Jordan Mason (MIN)

Quietly emerging as the top back in Minnesota. Looks better than he did in San Fran, and could run away with the job if he stays healthy.

🎯 Wide Receivers

🔥Tyquan Thornton (KC)

The Chiefs are desperate for a WR to emerge—and Thornton is answering the call. He’s flashed big-play potential, but Xavier Worthy may return soon and muddy the waters. Still worth the gamble.

💣 Tre Tucker (LV)

Tucker *exploded* this week, putting up a career-best performance. Long-time dynasty stashers know he’s boom-or-bust, but if this is his breakout moment, he could stick as a WR2/3.

🧪Luke McCaffrey (WAS)

Flashed solid talent, but he’s stuck as the WR4 right now. Needs injuries or 4-WR sets to stay relevant, but worth a stash in deeper leagues.

🧠 Tight Ends

🚨 Hunter Henry (NE)

TEs were quiet again this week, but Henry blew up and landed near the top of the leaderboard. Rookie QB Drake Mayeseems to love targeting him. Could be a streaming option going forward.

📢 Final Word

It’s still early, but the moves you make now are the ones that’ll get you to the playoffs. Injuries are stacking up, roles are shifting, and values are being created on the fly. Don’t miss your shot.
