Alright, fantasy lords—Week 7 is here, and with more byes and injuries piling up, the waiver wire continues to be a battlefield.
Quick heads-up: this column is on a BYE next week, so sharpen those instincts—you’re flying solo in Week 8.

🧠 Week 7 Waiver Targets
🔁 Quarterbacks
Ownership varies, so your availability will depend on league depth.
🔥 Joe Flacco (CIN) Yep, he’s back. QB14 in his first start with the Bengals, and with Cincinnati likely playing from behind often, Flacco’s going to throw—a lot. Borderline QB1/2 ROS. A no-brainer in Superflex leagues.
🚀 Jacoby Brissett (ARI) If Kyler Murray isn’t back this week, Brissett is your guy. He dropped QB6 numbers and looked sharp. Maybe a trade target, maybe a short-term starter—but a valuable stash either way.
🎲 Shedeur Sanders (CLE) Dillon Gabriel is struggling, and Cleveland’s season is spiraling. The Browns will likely give Shedeur a look before the year ends. Still a long shot, but stash-worthy in deep dynasty.
🏃♂️ Running Backs
Slim pickings again, but a couple of upside plays.
🔥 Kimani Vidal (LAC) We usually don’t highlight the same guy twice in a row, but Vidal continues to make his case. Locked into the role until Omarion Hampton returns. If still available, go get him.
🌀 Isaiah Pacheco (KC) Might already be rostered, but trending up. Not a league-winner yet, but showing growth and opportunity. Worth a flyer in shallow formats or trade target in deeper leagues.
💎 Bam Knight (ARI) A deep-league grab. Not much clarity in Arizona’s backfield yet, but Knight could earn a bigger role in a cloudy committee.
🎯 Wide Receivers
More volatility, but some intriguing upside here.
🔥 Kayshon Boutte (NE) We’ve seen this movie before… but this time it might stick? WR4 on the week. Might ghost next week—but might not. Add and watch closely.
📈 Zay Jones (ARI) Brissett loved him last week. Yes, he's volatile. But if the targets hold up, Zay could be a solid bench stash, especially in PPR formats.
🧪Kameron & Tez Johnson (TB) With Egbuka and Mike Evans sidelined, both Johnson/Johnson brothers flashed. Like the Haskins/Vidal situation—unclear who emerges, but both are worth dart throws.
✨Tight Ends
💥 Tyler Higbee (LAR) Finally back on the radar. TE8 this week, and while his best days are behind him, he has proven upside. If you’re desperate at the position, he’s a solid pickup.
Final Word
That’s a wrap for Week 7. No new column next week, so stock up now, plan ahead, and watch injury reports closely. This is where titles are won—not just in drafts, but on the wire.
