The New York Jets continue to take one step forward and two steps back as news came out Monday per ESPN’s Rich Cimini that star wide receiver Garrett Wilson is expected to miss three to four weeks after reinjuring his right knee in Sunday’s win over the Cleveland Browns. Wilson sustained the injury in the third quarter of the Jets’ 27-20 win over the Browns and underwent an MRI Monday. The good news for Jets fans is that the MRI revealed that Wilson will not need surgery.
Bad news for the #Jets offense: WR Garrett Wilson is expected to miss at least 3-4 weeks with a knee sprain, source says. Good news is no surgery, just rehab.

While the Jets have now won back-to-back games, sitting at (2-7), the Jets will now have to face the AFC East leading New England Patriots (8-2) on the road on a short week as they travel to Foxborough for Week 11’s Thursday Night Football. While the Jets have managed to finally win some football games, the short week and loss of their best pass catcher will only hinder a pitiful passing attack that only managed to tally 54 total passing yards in their win on Sunday.
Wilson missed the previous two games with an injury to the same knee which has greatly thwarted his production this season along with the terrible quarterback play of Justin Fields. Wilson has tallied 36 receptions for 395 yards and four touchdowns in seven games this season.
