Arizona Cardinals head coach Jonathan Gannon announced that wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. underwent surgery for appendicitis and will not play in Arizona's Week 11 matchup against the San Francisco 49ers.

Gannon noted that it is unclear if Harrison Jr. will need to miss additional time following Week 11 due to the surgery. However, the Cardinals have also played receiver Simi Fehoko on injured reserve, who will now join Zay Flowers, who suffered a torn Achilles against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 10.

Harrison Jr. has tallied 34 receptions for 525 receiving yards and four touchdowns in his nine outings this season.
