Injury Round Up

Mike Evans

For the third straight week, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will be without their six-foot-five, 231-pound wide receiver, Mike Evans.

Evans has been sidelined for the past two weeks after suffering a hamstring injury in Week 3, and is now set to miss his third straight game, a Sunday afternoon match-up with the San Francisco 49ers.

In his three games played this season, Evans has tallied 14 receptions for 140 receiving yards and a touchdown. He tallied five receptions in Weeks 1 and 2 in wins over the Atlanta Falcons and Houston Texans, where he recorded 51 and 56 receiving yards, respectively.

He scored his first touchdown of the season in the Bucs' 29-27 Week 3 win over the New York Jets. The veteran receiver was targeted eight times, resulting in four catches for 33 yards and a score through the air.

Evans will now be joined by fellow receiver Chris Godwin, who suffered a fibula injury last week against Seattle, and will be inactive against San Francisco.
