Nick Bosa is the latest San Francisco 49ers star to go down with an injury, adding to a growing list of key players already sidelined.
During the first half of Sunday’s matchup with the Arizona Cardinals, Bosa limped off the field and immediately laid down on the sideline before signaling a thumbs-down to the crowd as he made his way to the blue medical tent. After further evaluation, he limped to the locker room.

The 49ers initially listed him as questionable to return with a knee injury but later downgraded him to out after halftime.
Bosa’s absence is another major blow for San Francisco, which is already without Brock Purdy, Jauan Jennings, and George Kittle. The 27-year-old defensive end has opened the season with 11 tackles, two sacks, and a forced fumble — and the 49ers can ill afford to be without their defensive anchor for long.
