Steelers DL Daniel Ekuale

Pittsgurgh Steelers defensive lineman Daniel Ekuale suffered a torn ACL during Sunday nights 35-25 loss to the Green Bay Packers, and head coach Mike Tomlin confirmed that the injury will rule him out fo rthe remainder of the season.

Unfortuantly for Ekuale, the injury occured on the only snap that the veteran played in Pittsgurghs, third loss of the season, an injury that could likley sideline him for the remainder of the season. The 31-year-old lineman is in his first season with the Steelers, and signed a one-year contract that expires in March of 2025.

Pittsgurgh's fifth-round rookie Yahya Black will fill the role left by Ekuale, as the Steelers second-string nose tackle. Ekuale was not the only Steelers' player to suffer major injuries against the Packers. Strong Saftey DeShon Elliot and left guard Isaac Seumalo also delt with knee, and pectoral injuries, respectivly.
