Minnesota Vikings

The Minnesota Vikings took home the victory in a battle of backup quarterbacks vs. the Cincinnati Bengals.

Top takeaways from Vikings 48-10 win over the Bengals:

Isaiah Rodgers makes Vikings history:

Vikings cornerback Isaiah Rodgers made history as the first Minnesota player to record two or more defensive touchdowns in franchise history.

Rodgers first intercepted Bengals quarterback Jake Browning and ran back his pass 87 yards to take a 14-0 lead midway through the fourth quarter.

He then went on to recover a Noah Fant fumble and ran that back 66 yards for his second touchdown of the day.

He finished the day with two forced fumbles, one interception, a fumble recovery, and two touchdowns to move the Vikings to a 2-1 record.

Jordan Mason dominates on the ground:

The Vikings running back racked up 116 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 16 carries

Playing in place of the injured Aaron Jones, Mason excelled in a starting role, similarly to what he did in San Francisco in place of the injured Christian McCaffery.

Mason averaged 7.3 yards per carry and set season highs in carries, rushing yards, and touchdowns.
