The Miami Dolphins are 0-3 for the first time since 2019, after they fell short to their divisional rival, the Buffalo Bills, to kick off Week 3 of the NFL season on Thursday Night Football.
Top two takeaways from the Dolphins' 31-21 loss to the Buffalo Bills:
Tyreek Hill scores first TD of the season
After failing to find the end zone in Miami's first two contests of the season, Hill scored his first touchdown of the season, a five-yard catch in the fourth quarter, to tie the game at 21-21.

So far in 2025, Hill has had trouble connecting with quarterback Tua Tagovailoa to start the season, despite recording 109 receiving yards in a Week 3 loss to the New England Patriots.
Hill was Miami's leading receiver and tallied five catches for 49 yards on ten targets.
Tua Tagovailoa struggles against the limited Bills defense:
The Miami Dolphins signal caller had a rough night against the Buffalo Bills' defense, notably with defensive stars defensive tackle Ed Oliver and linebacker Matt Milano.
Tagovailoa threw for 146 yards and two touchdowns, but tossed a critical interception late in the fourth quarter, deep in Buffalo's territory on a potential game-tying drive.

He has thrown at least one interception in each of the Dolphins' first three games this season, including two in Miami's season-opening loss to the Indianapolis Colts. This is the second game this season he has failed to eclipse 200 passing yards.
However, for the first time this season, Tagovailoa did not give up a sack, after being sacked five times by the Patriots in Week 2 and three times by the Colts.
