Washington Commanders

Washington's search for a new offensive coordinator is officially over.

The Commanders have hired David Blough to fill their offensive coordinator position - which was formerly held by Kliff Kingsbury - just three days after Kingsbury and Washington parted ways.

Blough was formerly Washington's assistant quarterbacks coach, helping to develop Jayden Daniels in his first two years in the league. The 30-year-old officially took over the Commanders quarterback coach role after Tavita Prichard left the organization on Nov. 28 to take the head coaching role at Stanford.

He played five seasons for in the NFL for four different organizations - Cleveland Browns, Detroit Lions, Arizona Cardinals and Minnesota Vikings - and while his playing career was breif (2019-2023), Blough is slowly rising as one of the top offensive analysts in the league.

In just two years with Washington, Blough has now been elevated from assistant quarterbacks coach, to interim quarterbacks coach, to the offensive coordinator.
