The Los Angeles Rams finished the 2025 regular season with an 11–5 record, earning the No. 5 seed in the NFC playoffs and a first-round road matchup against the No. 4 seeded Carolina Panthers. Los Angeles leaned heavily on a veteran-led offense throughout the season, pairing elite quarterback play with one of the most productive receiving groups in the league.

Quarterback Matthew Stafford powered the Rams’ passing attack, completing 388 of 597 passes (65.0 percent) for 4,707 yards, 46 touchdowns, and eight interceptions across 17 games. Stafford averaged 276.9 passing yards per game, consistently stretching the field while maintaining efficiency, and his experience has been a stabilizing force as the Rams enter the postseason.

The Rams’ rushing offense was anchored by Kyren Williams, who carried the ball 259 times for 1,252 yards and 10 touchdowns, averaging 4.8 yards per attempt. Williams also contributed in the passing game, providing balance and allowing Los Angeles to control tempo when necessary.

In the receiving game, Puka Nacua led the way with a dominant season, hauling in 129 receptions for 1,715 yards and 10 touchdowns. His ability to generate yards after the catch and consistently move the chains made him Stafford’s most reliable target. Veteran wide receiver Davante Adams added a major red-zone presence, finishing with 789 receiving yards and a team-high 14 touchdown catches. Tight end Colby Parkinson emerged as another key option, recording 408 yards and eight touchdowns, particularly in scoring situations.

Additional contributions came from Tyler Higbee, Davis Allen, and Xavier Smith, giving the Rams multiple pass-catching threats across all levels of the field and making their offense difficult to match up against defensively.

On the defensive side, Nate Landman led Los Angeles with 132 total tackles, while Cobie Durant paced the secondary with three interceptions. The Rams’ defense complemented the offense by creating timely stops and turnovers throughout the season.

Statistically, Los Angeles enters the postseason as one of the league’s most well-rounded teams, combining 4,707 passing yards, 1,252 rushing yards, and consistent red-zone production. With a proven quarterback, a productive running game, and explosive receiving options, the Rams are positioned as a dangerous wild-card team capable of making a deep playoff run.
