The NFL announced its First Team All-Pro selections on Saturday, Jan. 10, recognizing the best players in the league for the 2025-2026 NFL season

Matthew Stafford claimed his first career First Team All-Pro honor, edging out Drake Maye in the voting, while Myles Garrett, Puka Nacua, and Jaxon Smith-Njigba were unanimous selections for the 2025 Associated Press NFL All-Pro Team. Bijan Robinson earned the running back spot, Christian McCaffrey was recognized as the All-Purpose player, Ja’Marr Chase took the third wide receiver slot, and tight end Trey McBride received 49 of 50 first-place votes.

On defense, Garrett was joined by edge rushers Will Anderson Jr. and Micah Parsons. Jeffery Simmons and Zach Allen were named interior defensive linemen. Jack Campbell and Jordyn Brooks earned the linebacker spots, while Derek Stingley Jr. and Quinyon Mitchell were the starting cornerbacks, with Cooper DeJean at slot corner. Safeties Kyle Hamilton and Kevin Byard rounded out the defensive backfield.

On special teams, Will Reichard was the kicker, Jordan Stout the punter, Ray Davis the kick returner, and rookie Chimere Dike the punt returner. Devon Key filled the special teamer role, Ross Matiscik the long snapper, and San Francisco fullback Kyle Juszczyk completed the offensive selections.

Stafford, 37, received 31 first-place votes to Maye’s 18 and a single vote went to Josh Allen. He led the NFL with 4,707 passing yards and 46 touchdowns, finishing with a 109.2 passer rating. "That's amazing," Stafford said. "I did not see that coming. Played a lot of years. A lot of respect for this game. A lot of respect for the other guys who do what I do. It's not an easy thing to do. It means a lot."

Stafford became just the second player ever to earn a First Team All-Pro selection for the first time in his 17th season, joining kicker Gary Anderson (1998). Garrett, a five-time All-Pro, broke the NFL single-season sack record with 23, while Parsons earned his third First Team nod despite missing the playoffs with an ACL injury.

Denver led all teams with four First Team selections, including Josh Allen, left tackle Garett Bolles, left guard Quinn Meinerz, and special teamer Devon Key. Eighteen players on the First Team were first-time honorees, including Dike, who became just the fourth rookie since 2020 to make the team.
