The Carolina Panthers are bolstering their offensive line by signing top free-agent tackle Rasheed Walker to a one-year deal, according to NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero.

The contract, which can reach up to $10 million with incentives, was reported by Cameron Wolfe. Walker, 26, was a seventh-round pick who has developed into a reliable starter in Green Bay, starting every game for the Packers in 2025 except for Week 18, when the team rested several first-stringers.

Ranked No. 19 overall on Gregg Rosenthal’s top 101 free agents at the time of the deal, Walker’s durability and experience are expected to be a major asset for Carolina, which was hit hard by injuries along the offensive line last season, including a ruptured patellar tendon suffered by left tackle Ikem Ekwonu in the Panthers’ wild-card loss to the Los Angeles Rams. Walker could step in at left tackle if Ekwonu isn’t ready for the start of the 2026 season, while a strong campaign could position him for an even bigger payday next year.
