Rookie Baltimore Ravens head coach Jesse Minter has officially chosen his offensive leader, hiring Declan Doyle as the team’s new offensive coordinator. The move, reported Friday by NFL Network Insider Tom Pelissero, marks a major addition to Minter’s staff as he looks to establish his vision for the Ravens’ offense.
Doyle, 29, spent the 2025 season as the Chicago Bears’ offensive coordinator under Ben Johnson, helping guide the team to ninth in points scored and sixth in total yards—Chicago’s first top-10 finish in both categories since 2013. His work with the Bears showcased a modern, efficient approach that impressed many around the league and positioned him as a rising star in offensive coaching circles.
Doyle’s coaching career began with the New Orleans Saints as an offensive assistant under Sean Payton in 2019, a role he held through the 2022 season. He then followed Payton to Denver, serving as the Broncos’ tight ends coach from 2023 to 2024. The Ravens are betting that Doyle’s experience with high-powered offenses and his ability to develop young talent will translate quickly to success in Baltimore, where he will play a central role in shaping Minter’s offensive identity.
