When Brian Daboll was hired by the Tennessee Titans and wide receiver Wan’Dale Robinson approached free agency, a reunion in Nashville felt inevitable.
That expectation has now become reality. Robinson has agreed to a four-year, $78 million contract with the Titans that includes $38 million guaranteed, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported Monday.
The signing gives Tennessee another weapon for rookie quarterback Cam Ward, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, who is entering a pivotal stage in his development and needs reliable targets in the passing game.
Robinson arrives in Tennessee after the most productive season of his career. During the 2025 campaign — Daboll’s final season as head coach of the New York Giants before he was dismissed after 10 games — Robinson posted career highs with 92 receptions for 1,014 yards and four touchdowns.
Originally selected by the Giants in the second round of the 2022 draft, Robinson was one of Daboll’s first draft picks in New York. Over the past two seasons, he has recorded 185 receptions while catching passes from a long list of quarterbacks, including Daniel Jones, Drew Lock, Tommy DeVito, Russell Wilson, Jaxson Dart and Jameis Winston.
Having already proven capable of producing despite constant change at quarterback, Robinson should have little trouble helping Ward grow as Tennessee’s offense begins a new era.
