Steph Curry will not play tonight against the Jazz due to rest

The Golden State Warriors control their destiny. They currently possess the No. 10 seed in the West and have the opportunity to clinch a play-in spot.

The Warriors are four games ahead of the No. 11 seed Houston Rockets. With five games remaining in the regular season, Golden State can secure its No. 10 seed with a win tonight against the Utah Jazz or a Houston loss today against the Dallas Mavericks.

However, Steph Curry will not see the court tonight due to rest, which is a significant loss for Golden State. If Houston can scrape out a win against the No. Mavericks, they can keep their playoff hopes alive.

Steph Curry and the Warriors broke their six-game winning streak with a 108-106 loss to the Mavericks on April 5. If the Rockets are eliminated from playoff contention after today's matchups, the ten teams in the West will be set for the postseason, with the bottom four receiving bids to the NBA play-in tournament.
