Minnesota Timberwolves forward Naz Reid was awarded the NBA Sixth Man of The Year, helping lead the Timberwolves to the No. 3 seed in the West, only behind the reigning champion Denver Nuggets and the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Reid recorded career-highs in points (13.5), assists (5.2), rebounds (1.3), and three-point percentage (41.4) coming off the bench for the Timberwolves. Reid has helped Minnesota to the No. 3 seed in the West and their second-best record in franchise history at 56-26.
Reid narrowly edged out Malik Monk of the Sacramento Kings, who came in second in the Sixth Man of the Year voting. Reid received 45 first-place votes to Monk's 43, accounting for the 10-point difference (352 to 342). Reid and Monk received the same votes for second place (39) and third place (10).
As of April 25, 2024, the Timberwolves have a two-game lead over the Phoenix Suns in the first round of the Western Conference Playoffs. The Timberwolves travel to Phoneix on Friday, April 26, to play Game 3 of the series.
