Houston is fighting for the No. 10 seed in the West to receive a bid to the play-in tournament, and since the All-Star break, Houston has been climbing the ladder, winning 11 straight games since March 8. As of March 31, the Rockets are one game behind the No. 10 seed Golden State Warriors, who have gone 12-8 since the All-Star break, opening the door for Houston to go to the play-in.
With nine games remaining for Houston, including a head-to-head against Golden State on April 4, the Rockets hope to keep their win streak alive and return to the playoffs for the first time since 2020. The Rockets take on the Dallas Mavericks at 7 p.m. ET, hoping to win 12 straight in March.
