Clippers guard Russell Westbrook was sidelined for 12 games after fracturing his left hand on March 1 against the Washington Wizards.
Westbrook underwent surgery on his injured hand on March 4 and has been recovering to make his return to the Clippers’ lineup. In Westbrook's absence, the Clippers went .500, dropping a game to the Hawks, Timberwolves, 76ers, and two games to the Bucks.
In his first game back against the Pacers, Westbrook recorded 14 points, seven assists, and four rebounds in Los Angeles’ 133-116 loss to Indiana. While Westbrook is no longer a starter for the Clippers, since the acquisition of James Harden on November 1, Westbrook has been a spark off the bench for L.A., averaging 11.1 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 4.5 assists.

The Clippers currently have control over the No. 5 seed in the west, with less than a month to go in the NBA regular season. The Clippers are set to take on the 76ers again on March 27, where Westbrook will make his second appearance since his injury.
