The Los Angeles Rams lost one of their top offensive weapons midway through the second quarter on Sunday Night Football. Puka Nacua, their second-year superstar was ruled out for the game with a knee injury.

Nacua has been fighting a knee injury throughout the entire preseason, which may raise concern for the star.

Before the injury, Nacua had four catches for 35 yards. He caught all four of his targets from Matthew Stafford.

Last season, Nacua caught 105 passes and went for 1,486 yards and six touchdowns. Nacua was able to shine in the absence of Cooper Kupp.

Without Nacua in the game, the Rams will be relying on Kupp, who is comfortable in this position. Players like Demarcus Robinson and TuTu Atwell will also have to step up in the absence of Nacua.

The severity of the injury is not currently known, but the Rams will hope it is not too serious. If he has to miss time, Kupp will have to stay healthy which he has not been able to do the last couple years. Kyren Williams will likely see more rushes if Nacua is forced to miss time, as the Rams receivers are not the strongest after Nacua.
